Rome Police Arrest One Male after Narcotics Raid

On Friday, May 11, 2018, Rome Police executed a search warrant at 1307 Cedarbrook Lane in the City of Rome. Police seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, cutting agents, prescription medication (Hydrocodone), four digital scales, $3,451.00 in United States Currency, ammunition and an AR-15 rifle. The raid was conducted by the Rome Police Special Response Team and Detectives assigned to the departments Special Investigations Unit. They were assisted by the Patrol Division and Detective Division.



One resident of that address was arrested: Adrian I. Carter, dob 10/29/1990. He has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree.



Carter was taken in to custody on Route 12 in Utica by members of the Rome Police Department Patrol Division. A traffic stop was conducted and Carter was arrested without incident. The Rome Police were assisted by members of the New York State Police, Oneida County Sheriff''''s Office and the Utica Police Department.
